No fancy name for this post.

This week has been a long one.  I spent Sunday night in the emergency room with my son, then went to work on Monday with no sleep.  Luckily I was able to leave at noon, but I still had to hang around the Walmart pharmacy for an hour to pick up antibiotics before I could go home and go to sleep.

I stumbled upon some movie trailer recuts that had me giggling.

These are two of my favorites, but you can spend hours on youtube looking at these things.

I got this song stuck in my head this week and it's not even the Fourth of July.  Please don't click if you have no sense of humor about America or are offended by gratuitous repetition if the "F" word.  Warned.

True Blood starts tomorrow; excited about that.  Last year I did recaps of the first 3 seasons of True Blood (check here, here, and here), but the fourth season just pissed me off.  It was almost as bad as Torchwood: Miracle Day (10 hours of my life I will never get back), which is saying something.  It was just a mess, too many stories crammed together, and they broke up Jessica and Hoyt.  Jason?  Seriously?  Jessica honey, no, no, no.

Anyway, I guess Paster Newland is back - as a vampire?  Russell Edgington will be back (squeeeeeeee), and I'm guessing Tara will either be a zombie or a self loathing vampire.  Please don't make her a ghost.  Just when you think Tara can get any worse they'll make her a ghost that's always following Sookie around, being alternately sassy and mopey.

    1. I barely remember them either, which makes the parts that I do remeber seem even crazier.

  3. I'm sorry to hear about your tough week, and especially that you had to take your son to the hospital. I hope that story has a happy ending and that he's better now.

Enjoy True Blood. I don't watch it, but it sounds like you could really use some relaxing tv time this week.
